Join us on May 27, 28, and 29 for the 7th annual Walk in the Spirit of Reconciliation.
Details, including a link to register, can be found at www.reconciliationwalk.com.
This year's walk will be self-guided, maps will be provided and you can walk at a time that works best for you! We will be posting Indigenous information, stories, and videos on the Facebook Event page for you to read or watch before or during the Walk.
There is a family-friendly route at the Arboretum in Langley which is close to Murrayville, as well as a family-friendly walk in Fort Langley on the Fort to Fort Trail. Participants will receive a free t-shirt when they register. There is no fee to register.
Opening activities will occur at the Derek Doubleday Arboretum as well as in Fort Langley.
“The sacred walk is a distinctly Canadian and Indigenously flavoured act of political, spiritual, and social witness.” ~ Bishop Mark MacDonald, National Indigenous Bishop, Anglican Church of Canada
