This walk, in response to the TRC Canada, was created by a group of Christian leaders and community members in Langley to lament and walk in solidarity with Indigenous People, remembering the harm done by the Residential School system.
Ever since the TRC Commission released its final report in 2015, we have been gathering and walking to promote healing from harm done by colonization and residential schools.
Join Sophia for a weekend of events aimed at raising awareness, rebuilding relationships, expressing solidarity, and building a community of reconciliation. We pray that all our paths are ones of healing, of peace, of restoration, and loving regard for one another.
This year we remember 10 years since the TRC - 10 years of walking in the Spirit of Reconciliation. You can choose participate in any and all of the walks and events over the course of the weekend. All are welcome!
