Gabriel Hasselbach

Gabriel is a succinct and lyrical trumpeter/flugelhornist with mad skills across the jazz spectrum, with unique doubles on flute and trombone. He has 10 certified Billboard hits, and the 2011 Canadian Smooth Jazz ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Instrumentalist of the Year’ Awards. There are 14 albums in his discography, 4 Mainstream and 10 Contemporary Jazz. He broke Spotify streaming records for his last contemporary release (2019) and has spent more time on US jazz charts than any other Canadian. He debuted his 2019 MCM Vol. 2 in Europe at the Algarve Jazz Festival, Portugal, and his new album Tongue & Groove will be out in May....

Jason de Couto, keyboards

Jason de Couto is a professional Vancouver, B.C. musician focusedprimarily on piano and keyboards. He works with a variety of musicians, ensembles, and multi-disciplinary artists in an array of styles and genres. He holds degrees from UBC, SFU and Capilano University, and is currently a high school music teacher working in the Vancouver School District.

Phil Belanger, drums

Phil Belanger has been involved in the world of music for over 40 years - as both a performer and a teacher. His versatility is reflected in his many diverse credits - including performances in the pop, jazz, latin, musical theatre, and classical music fields. Some highlights include working with the Vancouver Symphony and Opera Orchestras, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, jazz performers Karen Plato, Daryl Jahnke, Gabriel Mark Hasselbach, CBC Radio, the Arts Club Theatre, Tom Arntzen, Michael Creber, the City Soul Choir, the Vancouver Men’s Chorus, Orquestra Goma Dura, and many more.
