Food for All

This World Food Sunday, we consider who is at the table in our Christian churches and who is invited. We profess that all are welcome at our table at United Churches of Langley. But still,  we exclude others unintentionally, and some do not feel welcome. As we move towards full communion that not only welcomes but uplifts all people, all ways of being, all ways of moving through the world, how can we move beyond the minimum marker of inclusivity towards a celebration of all people?

This World Food Sunday, there is room for all at this table, and yet we still look forward to a more expansive welcome, with room for more and more, until everyone has a place at the table.
