Tebatchimowin is an Algonquin word meaning Truth, or true and complete account.
Motivated by the Call to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, we invite you to a four-week series to help us become reconciled to our history, and to continue the reconciliation process with First Nations people.
Tebatchimowin material was developed by the Legacy of Hope Foundation and designed for ages 10 and older to raise awareness about residential schools and deepen our ability to enter into renewed and healing relationships in the future. The series will include some video, some conversation, some art activities, and more.
Join Rev. Karen Verveda in the Sharon Chapel at our Murrayville site Sundays February 28, March 6, 13 and 20, 12:15—1:45 pm. Bring a bag lunch, and bring your questions, your faithful desire to listen, to share, and to learn.
To find out more, contact Karen, or contact Jovana in the church office to sign up.
