SUMMER DAY CAMP FOR CHILDREN: CAMP SPIRIT

Camp Spirit is a week long day camp sponsored by the United Church and hosted by various local congregations. This summer, Camp Spirit will be held at Cloverdale United Church. So close! Each day includes time for a wide variety of activities in age specific groups, and with the whole camp: story, singing, art, outdoor games, fun!
Trained staff together with a crew of youth leaders, will create a child-centered safe and spiritually grounded experience of day camp for children kindergarten through grade 6. For youth going into grade 7, 8, 9 we have a Leader in Training program, where youth will develop their leadership skills for work with children, as well as engage in group activities and some community outreach, too.
The mission of Camp Spirit provides equipped leaders to nurture the spirit of each child, in order to support children and families to live lives of faith, hope, and compassion in the world.
