Responding to Overdose in Langley through Education

An educational event focusing on the overdose crisis is coming to United Churches of Langley in Murrayville. On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, the Langley Overdose Response: Community Action Team will be presenting an overview of the current situation with the toxic drug poisoning crisis in Langley, as overdose deaths continue to occur in all Langley neighbourhoods and various segments of society.

The attendees of The Toxic Drug Poisoning Crisis: Where we're at in 2023 will be able to understand the drivers of this devastating crisis and how each member of the community can play a role in mitigating it. They will hear up-to-date statistics for Langley, learn about the toxicity of the drug supply and how it’s changed over the years, the role each person plays in terms of addressing their attitudes in order to reduce stigma, and more.
