Gillian McLeod, our Social Justice and Outreach (SJO) Facilitator is launching a new weekly gathering for anyone who enjoys knitting, crocheting, or simply connecting with others in a relaxed and welcoming space. Each week, participants will spend time getting to know one another, sharing stories, and learning more about the work of our SJO ministry — all while creating beautiful handcrafted items together.
The focus of this group is threefold: to build relationships, to deepen our understanding of the social justice-oriented work we support, and to use our skills to bless others. Every finished piece, whether a scarf, blanket, hat, or other creation, will be donated to local groups and organizations in need.
This initiative is a gentle, meaningful way to make a tangible difference in our community, one stitch at a time. All skill levels are welcome, and all are invited to join.
The group will be meeting on Tuesdays from 5-7pm, in the main Sanctuary at the Murrayville site, starting on November 25th.
