Mitten Tree

The Christmas tree set up in the narthex at our church in Murrayville will be decorated with mittens, scarves, gloves, toques – sizes for children and adults. The children’s items that are placed on the tree will be taken to Nicomekl Elementary in Langley where the teachers appreciate having items on hand for when children lose theirs, or simply do not have them. The adult sizes will be taken to either First United Church in Vancouver Downtown Eastside or Gateway of Hope in Langley.

Let us decorate this tree generously to help those less fortunate and to spread blessings of Christmas during the cold winter days.
