July Jazz AWE

Our Jazz AWE that took place on July 23, 2023, in the St. Andrew's chapel as the final event of the Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival was a great success!

Over 110 people attended this alternative worship experience  (AWE) service. Circle of Voices, comprised of vocalists Candus Churchill, Leora Cashe, Will Sanders and Jaye Krebs on piano, rocked the house with amazing Gospel Jazz arrangements. Rev. Sophia Ducey and Rev. Brian Fraser hosted the event. Songs were intertwined with Nan Merrill's interpretations of the Psalms, with themes of belonging, being known by God and others, and living in Hope.

We look forward to future AWEs and other gatherings that honour the heritage and community of Fort Langley.
