GUATEMALA TRIP FUNDRAISER—Bottle Drive. UCoL’s young people heading to Guatemala (August 22 - September 2) are collecting bottles to help raise funds for the trip. If you'd like to help, please feel free to drop bottles off in our box at the Murrayville site, or take them to the Bottle Depot at 22575 Fraser Highway where we have registered an account ("United Churches of Langley"). SUPPLIES FOR GUATEMALA. We are hoping to bring some supplies with us to Guatemala and our partners there have expressed a particular need for the following items: medical supplies (especially medications, bandages, first aid kits, and stethoscopes), logic games (for 8-12 year-olds), pencil crayons, crayons, pencils, pens, erasers, pencil sharpeners, craft foam, coloured card stock, tempura paint powder, paint brushes, beads, beading string, soccer balls, basketballs, and skipping ropes. If you'd like to donate some of these items, please bring them with you to church no later than August 16 (but sooner if possible) and connect with Scott Reynolds.
