We are kicking off our Fall 2022 Season of Jazz AWE (Alternative Worship Experience) with an amazing evening featuring Leora Cashe and Jaye Krebs, followed by soup and bun time of conversations about belonging and the yearning to commune with each other after a lengthy time of isolation during the pandemic.

We hope you’ll join us for this community gathering that intertwines amazing jazz music with reflections and conversation on relevant topics and themes for our time & place. These gatherings are for those who are questioning and shifting in their values and beliefs and want to be in community of musicians and friends to explore these shifts in our lives and in the world.

About our featured musicians:

Leora's soaring and powerful vocals are equally as captivating as her dynamic stage presence. Matched with Jaye Krebs' tasteful and playful accompaniment on piano, they display a syncronicity that is not to be missed.

Leora's rich, resounding voice reaches deep into the heart of the listener with an emotional range and energy that few artists can match. She radiates a bright light from her soul that echoes far beyond the concert. Influenced by gospel, blues and jazz, Leora's passionate vocal interpretations have garnered accolades from her home town of Vancouver to the US, Italy, Belgium and the UK.

Jaye Krebs has been a professional musician for over forty years playing country, rock & roll, funk and jazz. In addition, Jaye has been busy in the film industry as an Emmy Award winning visual effects artist in Canada, Europe and the US working on numerous block buster movies and television shows. He is currently finishing up his fourth children’s story/song picture book; “A Most Peculiar Hat”.

Leora Cashe and Jaye Krebs will deliver an evening filled with emotional power for an intimate yet soulful experience.
