Welcome to the January 2025 session of the UCoL BIBLE STUDY
Wednesdays, 10:30am - 12pm ~ Murrayville

Facilitator: Rev. Gabrielle Suedfeld

On January 22, we will start a new session about the formation of the Bible, the culture and politics surrounding translations, and a whole lot of fun subjects. We'll begin with a study of how the King James Bible came to be written and look at some of our favourite passages. We'll also be looking at the lists of people involved in this enormous venture and the faith and love that went into the work.

Part of each session will be information on the background of each topic, and there will be discussion questions for everyone to participate.

Some things to consider: How do you read the bible? When do you read it? What influence does it have in your life? What would you do without it? Does it bring you comfort or challenge? Are there parts that make you angry?

Come and enjoy God's Word, and be blessed.

All are welcome, even as a drop-in visit.

It helps if we know whether or not you are coming, so, if you are planning to join for the first time, please use the form below to let us know.

Overview of the session is available for download below.
