This was written in response to a challenge given by one of our revered nonagenarians.
RECONCILIATION:
Reaching out to others, offering a hand,
Embracing other cultures, each from different lands.
Creating safe communities for everyone to grow.
Owning our own actions, careful what we sow.
Neighbour helping neighbour, as we
Cultivate God’s world.
Insisting on integrity in everything we do,
Living out Christ’s message as we inspire and imbue.
Illuminating the path we’re on with
Awareness and with awe.
Trusting in God’s love for all,
Inspired by Christ’s call.
Oneness with the universe; conflicts being resolved,
Nurturing the newness as reconciliation evolves.
